During the TUDUM event in Brazil, Netflix presented one of its most anticipated series: Berlin. Prequel to The Money Heist, the series got a new trailer ahead of its release next December. Created by Alex Pinathe showrunner behind The Money Heist and also from sky redthis spin-off series is centered on Andrés de Fonollosaaka Berlin, played by Peter Alonso. Second-in-command of the Royal Mint heist and also the mastermind behind the Bank of Spain heist, Berlin won over audiences in the original series thanks to the magnetism of Alonso, who played a complex character who oscillated between his role ally and antagonist. So much so that he continued to be present throughout the series – despite his death at the end of season 1 – through flashbacks.

Today, Berlin returns in its own spin-off series with an entirely different heist team, consisting of Cameron (Stranger Vargas), Roi (Julio Pena), Damian (Tristan Ulloa), Keila (Michelle Jenner) and Bruce (Joel Sanchez). The eight-episode series will also see the return ofItziar Ituño as Raquel Murillo and Najwa Nimri in Alicia Sierra’s. The plan for Berlin?
