Some of the injured were taken to hospital in Saipina, while others, in more serious condition, were taken to hospitals in Santa Cruz.

According to the National Institute of Statistics (INE), traffic accidents in Bolivia caused 1,325 deaths and 11,155 injuries in 2021.
