Tennis legend Boris Becker (55) was again in his hometown Leimen, visited his mother Elvira (87) there, among others.
The ex-sports star uploaded a photo to Instagram that shows him beaming with Elvira in the living room. On the table: coffee, donuts, notes (among other things on an old postal envelope). A glimpse into the old, ideal Becker world – far from money problems and problems with creditors.

Antiques expert Markus Reinecke (54, “Der Trödeltrupp”) to BILD: “The furnishings are very antique in style – the sofa and armchairs are from the Biedermeier period, but newly upholstered. The furniture was all expensive, is very well maintained.”
Striking: the deep faith of Boris and his mother. On the wall a cross, a carving shows the crucifixion scene of Jesus. The Christian faith gave Becker support when he was in prison for seven and a half months in England in 2022 for bankruptcy offences.

Standing accountable for sins. With his bankruptcy, which is meanwhile continuing in England, Becker does not seem to think so.
His insolvency administrator Mark Ford recently criticized him in BILD: “There is currently a lack of cooperation.”
The bitter bill: BILD has received a letter from Ford to Becker’s creditors – in it he writes that the creditors only get back 0.12 pence for every pound of debt. In other words, for every euro that friends and business partners once lent to Becker, they only get back a single cent.

But Ford gives them hope: “There has been much press coverage of the debtor’s potential new employment contracts, which may result in an increase in his current and future income and should significantly improve his ability to pay his bankruptcy arrears.”
