Bundesliga

Even if Borussia Dortmund does not become German champion again this season and FC Bayern could not be surpassed even in their greatest phase of weakness for a long time, many in the BVB environment refuse to stamp the season as a disaster. Edin Terzić’s team played too confidently in many games, the team unity is too great.

The coach has managed to get players like Julian Brandt or Emre Can, who have had a career break in recent years, back on track and turn them into key players in his system. With the current squad and current form, many experts believe that Borussia can be trusted to cope with the impending departure of midfield star Jude Bellingham, who is said to be in agreement with Real Madrid.

In order to provide fresh impetus and an invigorating competition in the coming season, Dortmund are already looking for reinforcements for the coming season on the transfer market. Cologne’s Ellyes Skhiri and Gladbach’s Ramy Bensebaini have been traded as possible reinforcements from the Bundesliga for months.

Now a new name has allegedly appeared on the BVB wish list.

We are talking about Werder Bremen striker Marvin Duksch. The 29-year-old has been extremely accurate this season: with 12 goals this season, he is one of the best attackers in the league. The broadcaster Sky now wants to knowthat those responsible at Borussia Dortmund are dealing with the tall striker.

BVB: Marvin Duksch honors Dortmund past

Because Ducksch is no stranger to BVB: Born in Dortmund, he played for the Black and Yellows from 2002 to 2016. He made his debut in the Bundesliga in 2013 under the then coach Jürgen Klopp.

Terzić has already coached the Werder striker in BVB’s U17s. “You know each other. I appreciate him very much, not only as a coach but also as a person. I did that back then. A man who has a lot of ideas for me,” Ducksch recently made clear in the Sky interview.

Should the Werder player switch to BVB in the coming season, Borussia would have to transfer his exit clause of 7.5 million euros to Bremen. In Dortmund, Duksch would have to line up behind regular striker Sébastien Haller.
