What are these Bose QC SE headphones?

The QCSE are wireless active noise canceling headphones that work via Bluetooth. Discreetly appeared on the official Bose site and on several merchant sites, it is not intended to replace the QC45. It is moreover essentially the same helmet. Once on the ears, it effectively filters most ambient sounds, or even completely cancels them out, thanks to the emission of an opposing signal. You can listen to your music or your podcasts without being disturbed by the noise around you. A transparent mode is also present. Like the QC45, it features a TriPort acoustic architecture that delivers precise and rich sound. The level of insulation is impeccable and the immersion is very present.

The QuietComfort SE has a well-balanced sound. The bass is generous, too much on certain soundtracks and musical genres. You can quickly feel yourself surrounded by too deep bass, especially if you are sensitive to it. The sound reproduction remains rich and perfectly balanced. The voice tones are natural and the mids and highs are faithfully transcribed.

The bose QuietComfort SE headphones for less than 200 €, is it a good deal?

The QCSE is identical to QC45. The latter is priced at €259. At less than €200, the QCSE is therefore an excellent deal. The marketing of the QuietComfort SE remains a mystery and Bose has not bothered to communicate on its headphones. Still, its price is really attractive. Its design, light and robust, is excellent. The design is in all respects similar to the QuietComfort 45 and the buttons to control the volume, change tracks and pair the device are present. Lightweight, this Bose QCSE stays on your head without unpleasant pressures. The pads are soft and comfortable even with long use.

The headphones recharge via a USB-C socket and the promised autonomy is 20 hours. It takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge it. Note that as with the QC45, the QuietComfort SE comes with a carrying case, unfortunately this time in fabric.
