Like what the first iteration of Activision-Blizzard’s Battle Royale offered, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 could include a Resurgence mode in the coming weeks.

Additional content on the way?

In December 2022, leaks mentioned the probable arrival of the Castle map, from Call of Duty World at War, in Warzone 2.0. Although nothing had been specified, many players were hoping to see this map serve as a playground for a potential Resurgence mode. Now, our colleagues from the Insider Gaming media reveal that several sources have indeed confirmed the arrival of such a mode for Season 2 of the game.

As for Season 2 itself, it could start on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, as the Season 1 Battle Pass countdown expires on that date. For the moment, nothing has yet been confirmed by Activision-Blizzard, whether it is the availability date of the next Season or the additional and new content that it will offer.

As a reminder, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has been available since November 16, 2022 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series. Season 1 of the game was the opportunity for players to enjoy remastered versions of some iconic maps of the franchise: Shoot House and Shipment. Likewise, several new weapons and operators have appeared in this title, as well as a brand new DMZ mode.
