In the first quarter of the electoral year, facing the primary, open, simultaneous and mandatory elections (PASO) in October, Jorge Capitanich assured that they will serve to “strengthen the Frente de Todos (FdT)” and will contribute to electoral competitiveness.

“Today I believe that we should work on the PASO stage, we should work to strengthen the FdT,” the governor of Chaco said first.

In addition, in statements for AM990, he maintained that “today there should be primaries with the expression of different internal fronts that promote the election and that guarantee us general elections.”

Regarding the benefits generated by the PASO within the party, Capitanich stressed that “in the elections one should have the perspective of primaries with different expressions.” Likewise, he later added that “first you have to have a programmatic agreement and the will of different actors, and finally crown it with leadership to guarantee electoral competitiveness.”

On a possible candidacy for president for the next elections this year, the governor commented that he did not raise “the will to be.”
