Chile rejects that Venezuela denies the presence of the Aragua Train in Latin American countries

SANTIAGO, CHILE – The Minister of the Interior of Chile, Carolina Tohá, described the statements of the Foreign Minister of the regime as “insult.” Venezuela, Yvan Gil, who denied the existence of Train from Aragua one of the main criminal gangs in the Latin American country.

Tohá emphasized that “people have lost their families, the tranquility of their neighborhoods and their businesses because of this,” highlighting that Such denials are an “insult” not only for the Chilean Government and people, but also for the people of Latin America in general.

Furthermore, the Chilean minister highlighted that several Latin American countries have suffered greatly from the actions of this criminal gang. The general director of the Investigative Police, Eduardo Cerna, supported these statements by saying that the evidence of its existence is “notorious,” reported the T13 network.

These events arose after Gil stated in front of his Colombian counterpart, Luis Gilberto Murillo, that “the Aragua Train is a fiction created by the international media to try to create a non-existent label”, similar to what was done “in his moment with the Soles cartel”, a network of ‘Chavista’ officials dedicated to drug trafficking.

Gil exemplified his argument by pointing out how “ridiculously videos appear of people who claim to be from the Aragua Train, with a Peruvian, Chilean accent, among others,” Radio Cooperativa reported.

The Aragua Train, a Venezuelan criminal organization, which has extended its influence to other South American countries such as Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, even Spain in recent times. The leader of the gang, Héctor Guerrero Flores, alias “Niño Guerrero”, escaped from prison in September 2023.
