The Chinese carmaker Zeekr wants to come to Europe later this year. The company has its electric car with it Zeek 001which is said to have a range of more than 1,000 kilometers.
Massive battery
The Zeekr 001 was presented this year at the Shanghai Auto Show presented, but was already considered a Tesla hunter. With its all-wheel drive and 544 hp, the electric car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The strength of the car, however, is its range. According to the manufacturer, it should be 1,032 kilometers.
This is made possible by a 140 kWh battery installed in the car. The battery, weighing 800 kilograms, is certainly not a lightweight, but it should be charged in just 10 minutes 70 percent charge.
However, the range is probably a bit exaggerated, it was calculated according to the Chinese standard. According to the one common in Europe WLTP-Norm (Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure), the range should still be excellent 800 Kilometer come.
Price not yet known
The Zeekr 001 is already being delivered in China and is scheduled to follow by the end of the year Sweden and into the Netherlands come. Other countries are to follow in 2024, and it should be available in most Western European countries by 2026. In China they are Prices for the Zeekr 001 – depending on equipment – between 40,000 and 50,000 euros. However, prices in Europe are likely to be significantly higher.
