The first anniversary of the Ukraine war is on Friday – and the willingness to help has existed for almost as long, prompting many citizens and organizations in this country to help the affected people in Ukraine. The WAZ and the University Medicine Foundation are now drawing up an interim balance, in which all supporters and interested parties can be there live. The German-Ukrainian civil dialogue should provide answers and unique insights into the situation of the people affected by the war.
Next Thursday 23 February, the participants learn first-hand in a public online stream how the affected people are doing on site, what has been done so far and where the help is going. Away 3 p.m. is the live stream on waz.de to see.
Doctors report on the situation of the patients via a live link in the Ukraine. The reports are supplemented by a conversation with the Ukrainian Consul General Irina Shum.
