Jomaine Consbruch’s expiring contract with Arminia Bielefeld has been extended by another year. In the contract of the 21-year-old midfielder, after his 20th competitive appearance against Greuther Fürth (1-1) on Friday, a corresponding clause took effect. The working paper is only valid for the second division. The DSC currently occupies relegation place 16.

“As a boy from Bielefeld, I would like nothing more than to celebrate more victories in the 2nd Bundesliga with you.”, says Consbruch. The two-time U20 international continues: “I fully identify with the club and I want the club to hold the league. I very much hope that this is a positive sign for the fans and our environment.”
