Jonathan Fernández suffered several stab wounds in the streets of the Bicentenario neighborhood of the town of Puerto Iguazú that claimed his life.

After the burial of the remains of Jonathan Fernández, his mother Ana, spoke with the program Here we tell you about it by Radioactiva and told how the family believes that the fateful event happened: “According to witnesses, my son was killed by two Paraguayans who were going They showed up on a motorcycle because my son was sitting with a girl in the cordon and talking to the other boy, who I honestly don’t know who he is.
“That boy, a few minutes before, came running and handed him the jacket, he said ‘Johnny save my jacket for me’ and since it was cool that hour, he put it on. The other boy left and there came the motorcycle with two Paraguayan men, one attacked my son because he recognized the jacket he was wearing. Another got off and it was when they realized that it was the other one who was running, they followed him and for that reason they hit the other boy, ”he explained.
The very distraught mother remarked: “My son was killed innocently, he was not the culprit because the murderers came directly for the jacket because, according to what they say, the other boy had stolen from them, it was a mix-up.”
“I still don’t know anything about the fugitives because only yesterday I was able to bury my son. I understand that the police are working and I am confident that everything will come to light. I have a drop of peace in my heart, because I know that they killed my son wrongly,” he said.
Finally, he recounted that he found out about his son’s death through the media hours after what happened, “he was a father of a family, he had his defects like all human beings but he was an educated, kind, treatable man, a full heart of humility”.
