Cuban sends message to those who believe that living in the USA is synonymous with wealth

A Cuban shared on TikTok his experience as an immigrant in the United States and the reactions he sometimes receives from family and friends on the island.

In the video where he talks from a car, user @amadoernesto93 talked about how hard he works to help his people. “As everyone knows, I have lived here for two or so years, almost now I am going to celebrate three years in this country, and like me there are many who work like a mule to try to give all the benefits and all the best things to their families in Cuba “Amado Ernesto begins by saying in his testimony, where he expressed his frustration at feeling misunderstood by some family members and acquaintances.

In his words he also commented on the erroneous perception that many in Cuba have regarding the life of immigrants in the United States: “I am left speechless when sometimes they believe that… they tell you ‘you are in the United States , you are super well, you don’t have blackouts, you don’t lack food, you have a car.'”

In response to his video came comments of support and understanding and messages from other users, who shared their own experiences and reflections on the reality of Cuban immigrants in the United States.

“It’s hard. And unfortunately there are ungrateful people who do not appreciate the sacrifice that everyone manages to help as they can. A lot of luck and strength”; “Exactly, the majority in Cuba are wrong and believe that here everything falls from the sky”, “My brother, some free advice: Prioritize yourself first, then your parents your parents (if they are in Cuba) your children (if they are there) The rest is not enough,” they told him.
