A cyber attack has exposed the data of more than 600,000 Iberdrola customers. According to reports The Spanishthe events took place between Sunday, May 5 and Tuesday, May 7, when one of its suppliers suffered this cyber attack, with the consequent partial access to customer data.
Data like names, surnames, ID number and contact information were affected, as the energy company warned in an email and the aforementioned newspaper reveals. Despite this incident, the company was able to neutralize the attack and activated reinforcement measures.
