The Dead Rising franchise is very important to gamers, especially Xbox gamers. Unfortunately, the very average Dead Rising 4 was right about the future of the license, and today we discover many gameplay videos of Dead Rising 5, an episode canceled by Capcom.
Dead Rising resurfaces
It is through the
portfolio from a developer who worked on the game that several images and videos are reaching us today. Dead Rising 5 was to be called Dead Rising: Dia De Los Muertesand signed the return of Chuck Greene, hero of the second opus.
The game was developed under the Unreal Engine and was obviously to take place in Mexico City. It mixed urban and jungle environments and also had to offer to play two different characters.
You can find several videos of the title below. Obviously remember that these are videos of a game that was under development and that many assets are missing.
It is inevitably quite sad to see that the Dead Rising franchise is completely absent from the video game landscape today. After making the heyday of the Xbox 360, it gradually lost what made it successful and does not seem ready to return today.
A portfolio showcasing level design and milestone presentation on DEAD RISING 5 was found today by a community member, showing the game from 2017 running in Unreal Engine prior to being cancelled. ?https://t.co/Ezs9skRCgU pic.twitter.com/DPlFtutbq3
