Exposed bras, cropped looks and well-designed lingerie fumble – Berlin invites you to navel-gaze!

The clothes are loose in the capital. This year’s fashion week? Textile-free like never before. Whether Kilian Kerner (43) or Marcel Ostertag (44): Germany’s fashion designers rely on HAUT Couture.

Fashion expert Annette Weber on BILD: “The Berlin Fashion Week does absolutely justice to the image of the city – we are sexy and let it rip.”

But is that supposed to become the everyday gap for getting bread rolls? Hardly likely.

“You’d probably expect the catwalk looks to be in a fetish club rather than at the bakery on the corner,” says Weber. “You are spectacular, insanely sexy.”

And it’s not just on the catwalk that less is more these days. At the opening of the Berlin club restaurant “Papillon” on Tuesday, go-go girls danced on the tables for dinner.

Where does the soft spot for wicked fashion come from?

Annette Weber: “After the pandemic, everyone is hungry for life – and this fashion reflects that!”

And the “last generation” is also involved

Unexpected incident on Wednesday at Anja Gockel’s fashion show. Two activists from the climate group “Last Generation” stormed the event after about 20 minutes and stood in front of the photographers with their banner.

Gockel actually wanted to present her new “Genderfluid” collection with her models, but the climate movement disrupted the event. The audience was irritated when they visited BILD. But the models themselves reacted calmly and just kept walking down the catwalk.

Designer Gockel afterwards: “As always, you can’t do anything in life alone. Sustainability is my creed.”

She about the disruption campaign: “Why not, you can also use my stage for a good cause.”
