The deputies of the largest bench of the Legislative Assembly highlighted the opening of six new Urban Well-being and Opportunity Centers (CUBO), inaugurated this Tuesday by the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, which will allow the youth of the great urban centers and communities develop and have a better future.

The CUBOs are a space for opportunities, development and growth for communities that were previously excluded and victims of gang violence. The project is part of Phase 2 of the Territorial Control Plan, which has brought security to the Salvadoran family.

The head of the Cyan bench, Christian Guevara, stressed that the CUBO opened in the municipality of Mejicanos “will be called ‘Luigui Doze’, in honor of the young man whose life was taken by the gangs for not paying the rent. Thanks to the exception regime, more young people feel safe and will not be torn from their families”.

For his part, Deputy William Soriano, expressed on his social networks that “the CUBE of El Tamarindo, La Unión, is great. La Unión never received investments for the youth, until today”.

The deputy, Rebeca Santos, also indicated via Twitter that “I am proud to have approved the financing of Phase 2 of the Territorial Control Plan called “Oportunidades”. CUBES are now a reality”.
