The murder and dismemberment of Edwin Arrieta in Thailand occupies the headlines of half the world. Daniel Sancho, son of actor Rodolfo Sancho and grandson of Sancho Gracia, confessed to being guilty of the crime and He has entered pretrial detention awaiting trial. “They are trying to misrepresent the issue of whether he was gay or not. I don’t even see why they have to talk about it. That doesn’t have to be a title to get assassinated. That has to be indifferent. In the 25 years that I knew Edwin, I never saw him in a relationship with a man, never. he never told me”, expressed Carlos Zuleta in an interview for Miguel Frigenti that has been fully shared on Instagram.
The main problem, according to him, is that a really dangerous discourse is being offered to public opinion, the feeling that Edwin was “an evil gay who threw deals at me and harassed me”.
And not only that, but there has also been talk that Arrieta could have links to drug trafficking, data that Zuleta has wanted to settle definitively. “Edwin does not have a problematic family nor does Edwin’s environment have a drug-trafficking family. Carlos wants justice to be done and for Daniel not to be sentenced to death, but to spend every day of his life in prison: “I’m going to do what I have to do so that justice is done because, if not, this guy will be in Madrid in two years as if nothing had happened”.
