El Yonki appreciates the love and support he has received after the death of his mother

Although he recognizes that social networks are not his thing, El Yonki has made an exception with a live broadcast to send an emotional message of gratitude for all the support, love and encouragement he has received after the hard blow of losing his motherwho died at the end of last May in Havana.

“First of all, I want to thank all those people who have accompanied me in this dark process. I thought I would not be able to overcome this void, in fact, I cannot overcome it, but thanks to the unconditional support of each of my fans, my followers, you who are my friends, now I feel a little more recovered,” he began his words in which he opened his heart.

Despite the difficult moment he is experiencing, the Cuban artist living in Miami recognized how all the messages of encouragement he has received have helped him gain the necessary strength to face it: “I have received many messages giving me encouragement and believe me, I needed that. “I have received messages that have not been sent to me in years, giving me strength and a lot of support.”

In addition to expressing his gratitude, El Yonki reflected on the importance of valuing time and showing affection to loved ones while they are alive: “I urge all those people who today are giving me strength, to value time, to Lost time is not recovered. Regarding his career, the artist assured that he will fulfill his professional commitments despite the pain he is going through and confessed that his next concert in Miami, which will take place in Añejo this Saturday, will be especially significant for him, since it will be the first without the physical presence of his mother and will be dedicated to her memory.

El Yonki also took the opportunity to reveal details about his new album, in which he has collaborated with artists such as El Micha, Mawell, Harryson, and Descemer Bueno, among others, and which fortunately, his mother was able to listen to in its entirety. He also reiterated his commitment to his followers and to the memory of his mother: “I am going to become the Yonki that you made. The only thing I ask of you is that if one day you fall in love with my music, I assure you that at this stage you will happen things as great as those at the beginning”.

The video concluded with an emotional thank you to all his followers and his family, especially highlighting his wife and manager, Anita, for the unconditional support provided during this difficult time.
