The Buenos Aires head of government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, held a meeting in Mar del Plata with the governor of Jujuy and head of the UCR, Gerardo Morales, and senator Martín Lousteau (UCR-Evolución), whose objective was “deepen a government plan with axis in the economy”. Diego Santilli, pre-candidate for governor of the province of Buenos Aires, also participated.

Sources from Together for Change reported this Saturday that the meeting was “a three-hour meeting to continue developing the economic program that Argentina needs to stabilize and grow.” Likewise, in a statement they indicated that the meeting with the economic teams sought to “deepen the ideas and government plans of the coalition for the 2023-2027 administration.”

At the end of the meeting, Rodríguez Larreta said that “stabilizing the economy and creating better conditions for production and the creation of new jobs is key to moving the country forward.”

Morales, for his part, pointed out that “with Rodríguez Larreta we share the need to value political dialogue both internally and externally” and said that “we have been working so that Juntos has a productivist stabilization program that guarantees development with inclusion of all Argentines”.

Meanwhile, Lousteau considered that “these meetings are very fruitful because, together with our economic teams, we exchange the perspectives we have on the country and the city of Buenos Aires” and “we also make progress on how we are going to work from 2023 to improve the lives of Buenos Aires and Argentines”.

What other officials traveled to Mar del Plata?

Along with Rodríguez Larreta were Nicolás Caputo, Hernán Lacunza, Luis Secco, Milagros Gismondi, Lucas Llach, Nicolás Gadano, Pablo Lavigne and Julia Pomares.

For some time, a sector of Together for Change has been talking about crossed formulas for the elections

Morales, meanwhile, was accompanied by his economic leaders Eduardo Levy Yeyati, Horacio Barreiro, Carlos Guberman and Ignacio Bruera.
