Two years after his celebrated audiovisual project “Pitada”, in which he toured the best of his solo repertoire in acoustic versions performed live in a natural environment, the Argentine singer Emmanuel Horvilleur presented “Yo soy la disco”, the first preview of his new unpublished music project that he has been working on and that will be released in 2023.

The theme is a true declaration of principles from the dance floor. A track in which the artist dresses in the bright colors of the most classic disco music, showing why since his beginnings he has been one of the ambassadors of the sounds of Afro-American origin for the Latin world.

This song, composed and produced by Emmanuel Horvilleur himself together with Cítrico, stands out for its organic sound played by a great band in which the wind arrangements of trombonist Michael B. Nelson, Prince’s historical collaborator, stand out, who together with the The Hornheads bring the contagious rhythm of the brass section to the sound palette here.

Regarding the video clip of the song, directed by Rocío Gastaldi, it focuses precisely on dance as the essence of this music with Horvilleur accompanied by various dancers in an environment governed by a large ball of mirrors.
