The 83-year-old actor has been the subject of two complaints for inappropriate behavior on the set of the series broadcast on Apple TV+.

His departure from the series Mythic Quest had been sudden. Last April, producer Lionsgate announced that actor F. Murray Abraham would not participate in the third season of the program which tells the story of the creation of the Mythic Quest video game.

But this Monday Rolling Stone reveals that the 83-year-old comedian was actually kicked out of the program due to two complaints filed against him for “sexual misconduct”.

Complaints “taken seriously”

According to the magazine, F. Murray Abraham had to keep his distance from certain actresses of the series following an initial complaint and was finally dismissed when the creator of Mythic QuestRob McElhenney, has been informed of a second complaint.

In a statement sent to Rolling Stone, Lionsgate ensures to take “these complaints of inappropriate behavior seriously and to examine them thoroughly”. Despite the ousting of F. Murray Abraham, the series Mythic Quest is still streaming on Apple TV+ and has been renewed for a fourth season.

Besides this program, F. Murray Abraham recently starred in the second season of the hit HBO series The White Lotusas well as in Guillermo del Toro’s anthology, Cabinet of Curiosities, streaming on Netflix.
