With free admission, he underlined, the festival takes place “always with the awareness that it is urgent” for the community to come together “to be able to stop time, listen carefully and produce thoughts”.

Over three days, the event’s program includes sessions of short stories, concerts, poetry, animation cinema and theater.

On the first day, after the inauguration, the poetry session ‘À Volta do Vinho’, with Maria Giulia Pinheiro and Bru Junça, is scheduled for 9.30 pm.

This will be followed, on the 19th, by the multidisciplinary show ‘Stories to gain time’, with Renata Bueno and Bru Junça, with presentations at 10.30 am and 2.30 pm, and the storytelling session ‘Tell with a book’, with Rodolfo Castro, at 6 pm .

Also on this day, at 9 pm, the show ‘Walking as a way of seeing’ takes place, with a meeting point at the municipal library, at 10 pm, an experimental itinerant performance ‘A Visita’, with Pedro Luzindro, and, at 10.30 pm, the performance “Arborescer”, with Ana Sofia Paiva and José Grossinho.

For the last day, at 10:30 am, the children’s show ‘A cor do lemon’ is scheduled, by Andante Associação Artística Encenação, followed, at 11:30 am, by the launch of the book ‘Parlendário” with Luís Correia Carmelo, Nuno Mourao and Oriana Alves.

A collective lunch at the municipal library, the presentation of the show ‘Parlendário’, the presentation of the book ‘Bendito e Louvado Conto Contado’, with Benita Prieto, and the sessions ‘Poesia à la carte’, ‘The worst storyteller’ and ‘ Cows, wars, pigs and clerics’ are other planned activities.

The festival ends at 10:30 pm with the concert ‘each one in their own hole’ with Chica.

During the days of the festival, the Espaço Galeria do Cineteatro Curvo Semedo will host the exhibitions ‘A Cor da Vergonha’ by Helena Tomás, and ‘Stories to Win Time’ by Renata Bueno.
