False product reviews are becoming a growing problem on trading platforms like Amazon or eBay. Firefox developer Mozilla therefore bought the company Fakespot on, which has specialized in the detection of such counterfeits.

Like Mozilla in a press release writes, Fakespot uses a sophisticated artificial intelligence and machine learning, um patterns and similarities discernible between ratings.
