For all Venezuelans, the time for reconciliation has come

CARACAS.- Venezuelan opposition candidate Edmundo González Urrutia arrived at the Santo Tomás de Villanueva school in a yellow Volkswagen, accompanied by his wife, to exercise his right to vote. The polling station, located in the Las Mercedes area in eastern Caracas, has five polling stations and it is estimated that some 5,000 voters will turn out.

After casting his vote, González Urrutia called for unity and national reconciliation, highlighting the importance of the historic moment Venezuela is experiencing. “We trust that the Venezuelan Armed Forces will carry out the will of the people,” he said, emphasizing the need for transparency and respect for the election results.

In a message addressed to both the citizens present and Venezuelans abroad, the candidate said: “For all Venezuelans, the time for reconciliation has come. We say to all Venezuelans around the world that we feel your strength.” His words were greeted with applause by the supporters present.
