Presented in more detail during the Developer_Direct as well as recently during the Forza Monthly, Forza Motorsport is eagerly awaited by players. Unfortunately, many were disappointed that no release date was announced for the Turn10 title. Microsoft had been clear during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, the games shown at the conference would all be released in the next 12 months. Today, we learn that the game would be postponed for several months and therefore would not be released in the spring.

Forza Motorsport postponed to the second quarter of 2023?

In the latest issue of
Game Mess Podcast
the very renowned Jeff Grubb indeed evokes that he heard that the game was now planned for the second half of the year, and in particular the 3ᵉ quarter, between July and September:

From what I’ve heard, and I’m very confident of that, it looks like Forza has been pushed back to later this year, and probably won’t be released in the first half of 2023.

[…]

The release window I’m hearing for Forza is Q3, and maybe even a little later than that.

He adds that there may be a chance that the title will arrive before June, but currently it seems well planned for the second half, and that he does not understand why Microsoft does not simply announce right now that the game is pushed back a few months.

As a reminder, Forza Motorsport is planned exclusively for Xbox Series X|S and PC and recently revealed a lot of information about it, such as the number of cars and tracks available, as well as the use of a dynamic day/night cycle for the first time in the series.
