France's president blames video games for mass protests in the country

This week, the president of France, Emmanuel Macron blamed video games for the massive protests in the country. In a press conference, he pointed out the negative influence of games on young people, claiming that they encourage violence and uncontrolled behavior.

Macron said that some protesters seem to live in the reality of video games that have negatively influenced them.

The French president urged parents to take responsibility for keeping your children at home, avoiding their participation in the demonstrations. He stressed that the role of the Republic is not to replace the role of parents in the education and training of their children.

The President of France claims that video games incite violence.

Protests have spread to several French cities after the death of a young man at the hands of the police. Macron pointed to the social networks and video games as factors that have contributed to the increase in conflicts.

Macron also highlighted the significant role of platforms like TikTok and Snapchat in organizing the protests, but he also warned about how these social networks can influence young people, leading them to imitate violent behaviors that they see online, distancing themselves from reality.

Faced with this situation, the French president revealed that the government will partner with the gaming industry and social networks to face the problem of the negative influence of video games. He stressed the importance of removing problematic content from the platforms and called on different technology companies to collaborate with the French authorities and thus identify those who use these networks to incite riots and foment violence.
