Full Hogwarts Legacy map leaked on video

When there are no more, there are still some. Yesterday afternoon, Warner Bros and Avalanche Software presented yet another trailer for Hogwarts Legacy, the latter emphasizing 4K and the game’s visuals. It didn’t even take 24 hours to get news from Hogwarts Legacy and this morning, more than interesting leaks are making the headlines.

The game map and its different areas leak in a video

No you’re not dreaming, the Hogwarts Legacy map was leaked today by a careless streamer. Suffice to say that his channel did not last long, but the extract presenting the map of the game has already been recorded by a user (and surely others at this time) and it is therefore possible to find it on Twitter.

We discover a particularly vast open world which should offer many different environments. It remains to be seen what its real scale is and how long it will take us to cover it on foot or by broom.

The streamer stops in particular at Hogsmeade and of course at Hogwarts to give us more precise and detailed overviews of these mythical places on the game map. The visuals of the 3D map render particularly well and we were able to distinguish different parts of the school of sorcery:

• Astronomy Wing
• the bell tower wing
• The grand staircase
• The Main Hall
• The annex library
• the South Wing

We suspect that the list of important places in the castle does not stop there, but we will have to wait a few more days before knowing more. The leaked video also gives us some details about the game’s collectibles. For the Hogwarts castle area alone, we can look for 35 chests to collect, 150 field guides to find, 10 Demiguise statues (a kind of magic monkey) and an astronomical table.

The overview of the village of Hogsmeade lets us guess the presence of various businesses (hairdresser, Quidditch store, wizard’s outfit store…) and also contains other collectibles of the same ilk as those presented above .

The release of Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled for February 10 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and PC, April 4 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and finally July 25 on Nintendo Switch.
