Members of the National Gendarmerie seized this morning 314 tires without legal endorsement within parcels.
According to what was reported by official sources of the force, members of the Section and Road Group “San José”, dependent on Squadron 8 “Alto Uruguay” carried out a road prevention operation at kilometer 785 of national route 14, in Paraje Sentinela, when they stopped the march of a transport belonging to a logistics company.
When inspecting the interior of the semi-trailer, the officials verified the presence of 200 parcel packages with 314 tires of different brands and sizes, without the corresponding customs guarantee for their entry into the country.
The Court and the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Posadas intervened, which directed the confiscation of all the rubber bands and that they remain at the disposal of AFIP-DGA, San Javier Delegation.
