For the time being, Netflix has not commented on the fate of Ginny & Georgia. The cliffhanger of season 2, however, leaves the door open to a sequel, which will have to take care of exploring all the intrigues left in suspense. Showrunner Sarah Lampert unfortunately does not know more about the status of the renewal: she indicates that she still has not discussed with those responsible for the streaming platform. “They are very strict about how they do things. Basically, the strategy is that we throw away season 2, and then we have to wait and see how it goes, and whether or not there will be a season 3. But I really hope that we we’ll do, because it’s going to be a wild ride” she revealed to Deadline.
