Gordon Ramsay He can boast of being one of the most recognized chefs in the world, but also for his good work on television, being the host of programs such as ‘Kitchen Nightmare’, and also serving as a member of the ‘MasterChef’ jury.

And a celebrity like him has decided to get involved in a program called ‘Gordon, Gino and Fred, Viva España!’. A program that is broadcast on the British network ITVX, and which features the presence of Ramsayby the Italian chef Gino D’Acampoand the French cook Fred Sirieix.

Three great chefs who are dedicated to traveling to different countries and trying their cuisine. They have already visited France, Italy, Scotland, Greece and Morocco, with Spain being their last visit.. Here they have been to different locations in Andalusia and Galicia, where they have been able to taste some typical dishes.

“It’s better than the Italian one”

Ramsay has spoken about Spanish gastronomy itself. An opinion that astonished and annoyed the Italian chef, D’Acampo, who had previously said that Italian cuisine was very good: “I think that Spanish cuisine, honestly, is better than Italian, in my opinion…”.

“People love Spanish food and tapas,” Sirieix added, which made the Italian even more angry. “If you dare to say that Spanish cuisine is the best in the world, I’m leaving here“, responded D’Acampo, to which Ramsay insisted again: “What I’m trying to say is that it’s better than the Italian one”.

Gino D’Acampo did not give in, and therefore ended the conversation by pointing out again that Italian cuisine is better in his opinion: “If you think that, why do Italian restaurants and pizzerias continue to open all over the world and “Not so many Spanish restaurants?”
