Hertha BSC apparently needs a hefty transfer surplus to avoid licensing problems. According to ‘Sport Bild’, the financially troubled club in the capital must generate 20 million euros in order to meet the DFL requirements. The Hertha is “close to bankruptcy”according to the specialist magazine.
