The English football club Norwich will play in the Championship next season. It is clear after Saturday night’s match West Bromwich-Norwich, which ended 2-1.

Norwich had needed to win to keep the dream of promotion to the Premier League alive. Out-of-form Norwich have one game left to play for six points up to the qualification spot.

It is already clear that Finland’s national team striker Teemu Pukki will leave Norwich after the season. On Saturday, Pukki, who last scored on January 14, had to step in in the 64th minute.

Norwich close the season on May 8 with a home game against Blackpool.

Burnley and Sheffield United have secured promotion. Luton and Middlesbrough are two of four teams who qualify for the third and final spot.
