While a bitter argument continues to rage on Twitter as to whether the game should be boycotted or not, new information keeps coming to light. After it was already known in the past that the cult sport Quidditch cannot playhas now also leaked that the famous Chamber of Secrets will not be included in the game. But why did the developers decide against implementing this iconic location?
No Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy
The release of Hogwarts Legacy (buy now / €53.99 ) is getting closer and more and more leaks appear at the same time. Thus, the artbook of the role-playing game was pre-upon Reddit divided. The document states that the developers decided against implementing the Chamber of Secrets in the game. The main problem is the timing. After all, Hogwarts Legacy takes place a good 100 years before the events of the Harry Potter films.
“Unfortunately, there were some complications with the Chamber of Secrets, so we decided not to include it. We didn’t want the player to think they could kill a basilisk, which must still be alive in 1992.” reads the explanation in the artbook (via Reddit).
How long will Hogwarts Legacy be?
The leaked artbook also provided answers up here. That’s how the story should be almost 35 hours last. On the other hand, if you want to complete all the side missions and the game To complete it completely, you need a good 70 hours of play.
