The mother of the five-year-old child found dead on Tuesday in the Vosges expressed her emotion on Wednesday at the loss of her little girl. She asks that “justice be done” after the arrest of a suspect.
“I am destroyed,” said Wednesday morning the mother of the five-year-old child whose lifeless body was discovered the day before in a bag in an apartment in Rambervillers, in the Vosges.
“It’s too painful, it won’t pass,” the black-haired woman said, tearfully speaking to reporters outside her home.
A suspect in custody
A teenager, aged 15 or 16 according to the mayor of the city, was arrested and taken into custody. “I want justice to be done,” said the victim’s mother.
“There is nothing that can ease the pain of a mum, it’s very hard,” she added.
The mother confirmed that she had alerted the police on Tuesday in the early afternoon after seeing the disappearance of her child, who was playing in front of the house. According to our information, the teenager was arrested in the apartment where the girl’s body was found.
“I don’t want people like that outside anymore,” said the little girl’s mother. Several testimonies from residents of the town mention in particular a suspect who accosted children in the street.
