MIAMI.- The singer Chiquis Rivera shared devastating news on Instagram. The performer was forced to cancel his show in Albuquerque due to a emergency doctor, which she revealed on the morning of June 2: she suffered a spontaneous abortion while preparing for the concert.
“I don’t know how or where to start. While I was getting ready for the concert, I suffered the loss of my pregnancy which I had not announced since I was in the first weeks of pregnancy,” she said in a video she published on the social network.
Between tears, the singer stated that she is still assimilating what happened. “I was only seven weeks pregnant,” she added.
Chiquis explained that during the sound check she began to feel discomfort, specifically punctures in her belly. It was then that she had to be transferred to a health center for an evaluation.

Chiquis took the opportunity to apologize to her followers for not being able to be with them, something that intensifies her pain because she also does not like failing to fulfill her professional commitments.

Likewise, he explained that his medical team gave him authorization to carry out the concerts scheduled for June 7, 8 and 9. “According to my doctor, I will be able to continue the tour for the next dates in Texas.”
