These are the hardest times of her life.
The influencer couple Mandy Brobeck and Oskar Ogorkiewicz had just happily announced that a Fertility treatment was successful and Mandy is pregnant again.
A small miracle for the couple after their son Rio died of an autoimmune disease at just four and a half months.
Now they have to cope with another stroke of fate: They have lost the embryo.
After several negative urine tests, the doctor confirmed it with a blood test: “not pregnant”.
“It turns out we had a biochemical pregnancy. This is a so-called micro-miscarriage,” says Oskar in a YouTube video. The embryo could not assert itself.

“We don’t even know which way is up and which is down. Life really puts us to such a hard test. It’s such a back and forth. And in the end we were disappointed,” says Oskar.
But Mandy and Oskar don’t want to give up. After discussions with their doctor, they made the decision to try the fertility treatment again.
Since they only had one embryo, the entire treatment and artificial insemination had to be repeated. For this they flew to Istanbul (Türkiye) again.
Mandy carries IPEX Syndrome, which she may pass on to her children and grandchildren. Her little son Rio was born with it and died in December at the age of just four and a half months from the hereditary autoimmune disease.
That’s why Mandy and Oskar chose the route of artificial insemination and pre-implantation diagnostics (here the fertilized egg cell is genetically examined before implantation in the female body in order to identify possible anomalies).
In addition to all the positive support, there are also some negative voices on social media. Fans are wondering why the couple shared the result of their first (positive) pregnancy test with their community so early.
“We know that this is only announced from the third month, but you can see how happy we were. We are so open with you on the subject. If we weren’t in the public eye, we wouldn’t have announced it until after the third month. But we couldn’t hide it or keep it secret,” explains Oskar in the video.
