Some artists do not take off! Blanche Gardin decidedly threw a stone into the pond at the end of April, explaining why she refused to participate in the next season of Lol: who laughs, comes out! The 46-year-old comedian had actually split a long message on his Facebook account, addressed to the boss of Amazon (whose Prime Video platform broadcasts the program), revealing that he had declined an offer of 200,000 euros, and denouncing the various practices – which she considers unethical – of the American giant. But the actors and other comedians who appeared in the castings of previous editions of the show do not seem to have really appreciated the release of their sidekick…
“She makes us look like bastards!“
Quoted on condition of anonymity in the columns of Paris Matchthis week, a former participant of Lol: who laughs comes outis offended: “It’s disgusting ! She passes for a saint and makes us pass for bastards who take the money. Especially since these are not the amounts announced!“, he denounces. An actor director with whom Blanche Gardin would have collaborated in the past also scratches: “It’s a kicker for us. It is not done to balance salaries like this. How would she take it if we spit what she earns on stage? And then it is not done to refuse 200,000 euros. There is the one who proposes and the one who accepts. We can reproach the first, considering that it is a large sum, but not the second who can consider himself happy with the value given to him“, we explain, always without revealing ourselves. An artist also points the finger that the amount mentioned also takes into account the preparation time and not just the day of shooting.
