Although the celebration took place on the weekend of July 20 in The Hamptons, New York, it was not until this July 24, the day of birthday from JLo, that the Bronx Diva shared a video on social media about the dazzling night.
The celebration
The actress took care of every detail of the venue so that guests felt truly immersed in the era evoked by the Netflix series. Guests arrived at the venue in white carriages pulled by horses of the same color, there was instrumental music and even dancing like those performed in the 19th century.
“Dear readers… Everyone had a wonderful evening,” reads the text that accompanies the audiovisual, which shows the looks that López wore, as well as some memorable moments from the evening she shared with friends and family.
In the video, you can also see JLo singing some songs and having a four-tier cake.
Her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez; Benny Medina, her manager; Stevie Mackie, her vocal coach; and her son, 16-year-old twin Max Muiz, from her marriage to Marc Anthony; are some of the members of her inner circle seen at the party.
The great absentee, as was already known, was Ben Affleck, which further highlights the couple’s distance.

On her birthday, Jennifer Lopez shared a host of posts on Instagram stories from friends and fan accounts wishing her long life and prosperity.
Early in the morning, the singer shared a photo on her feed that she took in front of a mirror, in which she shows her splendid figure in a white swimsuit, her hair styled in a high ponytail and gold accessories on her wrists, matching rings and a subtle chain around her neck.
The most relevant detail: she holds her iPhone with her left hand and only has a large ring on her index finger; on her ring finger she is not wearing either the wedding ring or the engagement ring that Ben Affleck gave her.
She accompanied the photo with the words: “This Is MeNow,” which alludes to her latest album.
Later, JLo shared some photos in which she poses in pajamas next to a large birthday cake, flowers and balloons.
“I’ve been seeing all of your birthday wishes, beautiful videos and posts all night and this morning from all over the world. I’ve laughed, smiled, shed a few tears, and when I saw the billboard in Times Square I was completely overwhelmed. I truly have the best and most incredible fans in the world. I could never express how touched I am or how incredibly blessed I feel to have you all in my life. Thank you so much,” she began.
“It’s hard to believe we’ve spent all this time together. It’s funny. I find myself looking back on the most extraordinary journey and still feeling like the same girl starting out so full of energy and bravado, ready to take on the world; and yet so tender, fragile and sometimes scared but always full of love inside,” she recalled.
The singer said that her greatest gift has been her fans and thanked them for always being there for her.
“I have so much love for you. I want you to know on my birthday that you are my greatest gift. Besides my family and friends, you have always been there for me through the good times and the hard times. I can always count on you. And I want you to know that you can always count on me. Thank you for your care, your understanding, your loyalty and most importantly your love. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you…” she concluded.
Finally, she posted a video in which she sings alongside Steve Mackie. “To a HAPPY new year around the sun… Late birthday nights with @steviemackey,” she wrote.
