MUSK.- American rapper Kanye Westobject of repeated controversies in his country, is in Musk for a private visit, Russian media reported today – June 30.
Western artists have generally avoided travelling to Russia since the start of the offensive in Ukraine in February 2022, which led to a wave of sanctions against Moscow and a serious crisis in relations with Western powers.
“Kanye West is in Moscow! It’s excellent news, he is in the heart of the capital,” announced producer Iana Rudkovskaia, quoted by the public news agency TASS.

Ksenia Sobchak, a well-known media personality and former presidential candidate, posted a short video on Telegram, which she claims shows the American rapper looking out over Red Square from the roof of the famous GUM department store.
According to her, West traveled to Moscow to celebrate the 40th birthday from his friend Gosha Rubchinskiy, a Russian fashion designer.
The American artist, who in the past expressed his admiration for Russian President Vladimir Putin, caused controversy in his native country after praising Adolf Hitler.
West, also known for his fashion brand Yeezy, has become a pariah in the entertainment world since making a series of anti-Semitic comments in 2022. Several brands, including Adidas, Gap and Balenciaga, have cut ties with him.
