During this Monday’s Raw, The Imperium found in the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn part of their new rivals.
The buddy duo was celebrating their Night of Champions victory over Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa when they were confronted by the trio of WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.
This triggered the wrath of the “Prizefighter”, who practically broke the kayfabe to silence the trio of European fighters, accusing them of “breaking the rules”.
The team champion claimed that the trio would have had to wait for him to say his name before interrupting them, just like last week.
Kevin Owens pointed out that he did not mention the name of the group and its members, so they had nothing to interrupt them, and that this was a “wrestling rule” that should not be broken.
Fortunately, Sami Zayn managed to calm his teammate, but the rivalry between the two groups is launched.
