Kiwanis of Little Havana delivers toys for Three Wise Men

MIAMI.- This Saturday, January 6, the Foundation Little Havana Kiwanis will deliver toys to disadvantaged children in Miami to celebrate Three Kings Day.

“The Kiwanis Foundation of Little Havana proudly maintains a 39-year tradition, embodying the essence of Hispanic culture by commemorating the Epiphany and the arrival of the Three Wise Men,” the foundation said in a statement.

“In a touching gesture, club members and dedicated volunteers will distribute more than 1,000 toys to underprivileged children; while the symbolic Three Wise Men will personally share the story of the Epiphany and deliver gifts to numerous families,” they added.

In this way, representatives of the Kiwanis Foundation of Little Havana, along with members of the club, will be present at the event that will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 am at the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana building, located at 1400 SW First Street, Miami, FL 33135.

“We are honored to continue this meaningful tradition that brings joy and support to children and families in need within our community,” said Ernesto Portuondo, president of the Kiwanis Foundation of Little Havana.

The annual Three Kings Day toy distribution is possible thanks to the support of sponsors such as BMW South Florida, Bacardi, Amerant Bank, Accident Medical Group, Cafe La Llave, Don Francisco Coffee, Coca Cola Beverages Florida, Commissioner Eileen Higgins, Louis Fonseca Productions, Kiko Hospitality Group, Wynwood Brewing, Oliva Cigars, among others.
