One year after the release of Cursed Totem, Koh-Lanta is back for a new season. On February 21, TF1 will kick off this 2023 edition called Koh-Lanta, the sacred fire.

This year, the show, filmed on the Caramoan peninsula in the Philippines, welcomes 20 new adventurers (10 women and 10 men), aged 22 to 56, and adopts a new unique rule.

A talisman of immunity

Candidates will have the opportunity to win this object from the first event of the season, then with each comfort game. Once in the possession of an adventurer, the talisman will allow him to obtain immunity if his tribe goes to the council and thus protect himself or save a member of his team.

But unlike the usual immunity necklace, if the opposing tribe goes to the council, the holder of the talisman can still use his power by attending the council of his competitors in order to save the adventurer of his choice. .

After its use, the person in possession of the talisman will be able to keep it for each council, until his team loses a test of comfort. In this case, the talisman will then be given to a member of the opposing tribe. An additional strategic element that could redistribute the cards throughout this new adventure where 100,000 euros are at stake for the winner.
