Last minute of Milei in Spain, live: Albares (Exterior) summons the Argentine ambassador

Javier Milei did not apologize to the Spanish Government upon his return to Argentina

The president of Argentina, Javier Mileywill not apologize to the Spanish Government upon his return to the South American country this Monday, after the diplomatic crisis opened the day before following his statements at a public event in Madrid.

That was the idea launched in the last few hours by members of the Argentine Executive, after the president’s participation in a event organized this Sunday by Vox in the Spanish capital, in which Milei, in addition to attacking socialism and the present State, described the head of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, as a “scumbag”, and called his wife, Begoña Gómez, from “corrupt.”

Because of these demonstrations, the Spanish Executive called for consultations “sine die” to its ambassador in Buenos Aires, Maria Jesus Alonsoand urged Milei to apologize “publicly.”

“I don’t know why there is so much offense. I don’t feel like I should apologize. It’s not appropriate,” said the Minister of the Interior. Guillermo Francosone of the strong men of the Argentine Government.

In statements made on Sunday night to the Todo Noticias (TN) channel, the head of the Interior said that there is “no crisis with Spain, in any case a discussion with the president” of that Government, the socialist Pedro Sánchez.
