Lea Michele: the star of Glee sings "Don’t Rain on My Parade" and dazzles the 2023 Tony Awards

Like Rachel Berry in the cult series, she brilliantly took over the legendary air of Barbra Streisand.

Leah Michele is definitely the Funny Girl of the 2000s. This Sunday on Broadway, the star of Glee gave a special performance of “Don’t Rain on My Parade”, the signature number from the hit musical, on stage at the Tony Awards 2023.

I have to say that Leah Michele currently plays the role of Fanny Brice in New York. But if she was not named at the ceremony, she made the show and dazzled her colleagues and sisters, just before the final award ceremony.

Note that the young woman had already sung this title on the stage of the Tonys, in 2010, at the time of Glee where Rachel Berry sang the Barbra Streisand tune during the Sectionals competition… before Rachel found herself performing too Funny Girl on Broadway in the last seasons of Glee. This time, Leah Michele and his person really are one!
