Friday March 3, 2023, TF1 invites us to one of the most anticipated musical events of the year: the annual Enfoirés show. Despite a slight decline in the audience, last year’s show still attracted more than 7.9 million viewers, proof of an undeniable enthusiasm for this meeting which combines spectacle and generosity. . As Patrice Douret, president of Restos du Coeur, reminds us, Les Enfoirés represent 10% of the association’s budget. That, the artists have understood. The latter respond every year for this noble and beautiful cause.

Regulars and new faces come together for a good cause

Of course, the troupe can count on a hard core of regulars who, except in exceptional cases, would not miss this meeting for anything in the world. Among the longtime Enfoirés, Patrick Bruel, Jean-Louis Aubert, Julien Clerc, Amel Bent, Lorie Pester or even Zazie once again gave the best of themselves during concerts recorded at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, mid-January 2023. Ditto for Mimie Mathy, Christophe Maé, Jenifer, Slimane and Kendji Girac, absent last year but well and truly back for this 2023 edition. Alongside them, the rubgyman Antoine Dupont, the Formula 1 champion Esteban Ocon and star dancer Germain Louvet took their first steps in the troupe, as did singers Mentissa and Sofia Essaïdi. Singers, comedians, athletes… all are gathered on stage for the good cause.

Volunteers like the others… who have to pay for the places of their loved ones

Yes, for the good cause because even if they put all their heart and all their energy into it, the artists present on stage are volunteers. Just like the thousands of French people who distribute meals to the beneficiaries. Contrary to what some rumors have suggested, they are therefore not paid for the concerts. Not only do they receive no remuneration for their performance, but they also give up their performing rights to the Restos du Coeur association. Moreover, if they want some of their relatives to attend the concert as spectators, they do not benefit from any preferential treatment and must therefore pay for their tickets.
