Robert Lewandowski spoke about his first season at FC Barcelona. During an awards ceremony, the 34-year-old told ‘Sport1’: “I am fine. I’m very satisfied. We have a lot of young players in the squad who haven’t won a major title yet. That is a great success for them and can also be the next step in their career. It’s also important for me because it would be the next title in the next country.”
The Polish striker also spoke about his time at Bayern: “Everything I experienced and achieved at Bayern Munich stays in my heart. I will always be grateful. Bayern Munich, the city of Munich and Germany stay with me, because I was in Germany for twelve years, eight of them in Munich, and experienced and won a lot there. You can’t forget that.” Accordingly, he keeps his fingers crossed for the record champions in the Bundesliga final sprint and not for his other ex-club Borussia Dortmund. Lewandowski scored 344 goals in 375 games for Bayern and scored 72 more goals.
