Twitter debuts CEO: it’s Linda Yaccarino, what happens to Elon Musk in office, although the tycoon will still have several functions in his hands. The executive will seek to get the company commercially afloat, following his experience at NBCUniversal.
For 12 years Yaccarino was in charge of the advertising department of the television company, working directly with events like the Super Bowl.
Now it will have to “clean up” after the first remodeling done by Elon Musk. Recover major advertisers, who left due to changes in the company, is one of Yaccarino’s challenges.

Musk made the presentation on his Twitter account, explaining which will be the specific powers of the executive.

Yaccarino added that his number of followers had increased, already close to 397 thousand, but acknowledges that it is not “as prolific as Elon (yet!), although I am just as committed to the future of this platform.”

Doubts about the assumption of the new CEO of Twitter
One of the main doubts is knowing how far Yaccarino will be able to take the company forward, after the enormous controversies carried out by Elon Musk.
The billionaire has faced so much the Joe Biden Administration in the United States as well as the liberal and left-wing groups (which he describes as woke), after opening the doors of Twitter to conservatives and right-wing extremists, as well as people accused of spreading hate speech.
Because of this, several companies decided to depart from the platform.
