The current head of the Executive will go for a new term. He announced it before a group of young people in “Encuentros para el futuro”, a cycle of talks and proposals with different sectors of society.
Luis Castellano announced this Wednesday that he will be a candidate for mayor of Rafaela. The confirmation was given in the framework of a meeting with young people of different ages and occupations. In addition, he made it official with the entire community through his social networks.
“There are a lot of projects that I don’t want the city to lose. I want the city to empower them. And that is what leads me to decide to go for four more years for this beautiful Rafaela that we have. I love her”, remarked Luis Castellano.
Subsequently, he stated that “the challenge we have for the future is so great and so much is underway that I want to continue.”
Likewise, Castellano added that “to be Mayor of Rafaela you have to have a vocation, be passionate and obsessive. Three characteristics that I consider to have and that my team also has, because nothing can be done alone”.
On the other hand, he acknowledged that he discussed it a lot with his family: “There were many questions because they see my moments of suffering, pain and anguish. But this also gives me strength to continue. I love Rafaela and I do not want the process we are carrying out to be interrupted. I would like all this to continue and continue to be screened,” she added.
Meetings for the future
The current Mayor made the announcement in “Encuentros para el futuro”, a cycle of talks with different sectors of society to talk about the city and generate different proposals in a participatory way. In this first meeting, ideas related to the environment, education, health, housing, among others, arose.
The cycle will continue and will also cover sports, cultural, senior citizens, merchants, businessmen, students, workers and neighborhood institutions, among others.
The objective of these meetings is to find in the voices of neighbors, different ideas and proposals based on their experiences and occupations, because as the current Mayor said, “nothing can be done alone” and the accompaniment of the teams is needed. work and, above all, of the citizenry participating actively.
