The singer Madonna is under medical care after contracting a serious bacterial infection for which she had to be admitted to intensive care.
As confirmed by her manager, Guy OSeary, the 64-year-old artist contracted the infection on Saturday June 24 and spent several days in intensive care.
“His health is improving,” his manager said, adding that a full recovery is expected.
He also announced that his announced tour “Madonna Celebration Tour” for his 40-year career will be postponed and that new dates will be announced soon, including the start of the tour.
The tour was going to start this July 15 in Vancouver, Canada.
